Bag Policy
Bags or purses are not permitted inside of the gallery, except for the following -
- 1 bag that is clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and that does not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" OR a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- 1 small clutch, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap – no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
- One clear clutch per person or one small clutch purse per person is allowed.
- Bags that do NOT comply with the clear bag policy: purses, briefcases, backpacks, diaper bags, luggage, computer bags.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the check-in desk. Please limit the number of items you bring to the gallery.
Belóved Gallery provides complimentary clear plastic bags for guests who need them.
Phone Policy
Cell phones are permitted but must be put away and silenced while inside Belóved Gallery - no talking on the phone and no photos or videos can be taken.
Latecomers Policy
Please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to your scheduled reservation time. Tours are guided and begin promptly at the start time. Latecomers will not be permitted to join the tour and will be required to reschedule at another available day and time.
Parking
Public parking is available in front of the gallery entrance on Avenue H. Additional parking is permitted on historic Main Street just one block west of Belóved Gallery.
Check In
The check in desk is located in Belóved Cafe at the northeast corner of Market on H.
Food and Drink
Belóved Cafe serves a menu of custom coffee, tea, assorted beverages, and locally prepared sandwiches, salads, wraps, baked goods, and on-the-go bites. Gluten-free options are available. Gifts are also available for purchase.
No food or drink is permitted in Belóved Gallery.
Children
Exhibition content is appropriate for all ages. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times and must remain respectful of the quiet atmosphere.
Restrooms
Guests have access to the restroom in Belóved Cafe and the public restrooms on Main Street.
Service Animals
Service dogs, specified and protected under the
ADA,
Texas Health and Safety Code, and Occupations Code, are allowed inside Belóved Gallery & Café. Service dogs must be controlled by the individual they serve or by a trainer. Service dogs must be under control at all times.
All other dogs are welcome to enjoy a fresh bowl of water and treats on Belóved Café's patio. Dogs must be attended to at all times and on leashes to ensure the safety and well-being of all pets and guests.
